Introducing the Sonic Ergo+ 52 ASA – the next evolution of our wildly popular Aero Shaped Carbon (ASC) extensions, now available in a sleek, high-performance aluminum. Crafted with an advanced multi-stage forming process, the 52 ASA extensions brings the same arm-hugging benefits of our iconic shaped extensions, all at a more affordable price.

Our Sonic bracket offers an extensive fit range, low weight and easy adjustment along with minimal frontal area. Combining this with the Ergo+ armrest creates an aerobar that will aid most riders in optimizing their position for both speed and comfort.

The core innovation behind both the ASC and ASA series is simple: shift the extension sideways to seamlessly align with your arm’s natural position, while keeping a 22.2mm mounting area to stay compatible with most standard aerobars.

With the 52ASA, we’re setting a new standard for “best value shaped extension” – a bold step in our ongoing mission to deliver high-performance solutions for riders of all levels.

Performance

The Sonic/Ergo+ is designed to present minimal frontal area to create as little aerodynamic drag as possible. The main purpose of an aerobar is, of course, to get the rider into a fast position despite a fairly minimalist appearance the Sonic/Ergo+ offers a comprehensive fit range for exactly this purpose.

The sole purpose of extensions is to provide a comfortable position for the riders hands relative to the armrests. They enhance performance by allowing the rider to relax into their optimal position. Which is why we provide different fit options so each rider can chase their best performance.

There are 100 distinct position options achievable just by moving the armrests. Combine that with the risers and this bar offers 1500 possible configurations. As a clip on bar it is also possible to adjust the extension width and tilt easily. This is the most adjustable clip on bar on the market (and in history).

Armrest Offset: -85mm to -17.5mm in 15mm steps
Armrest Width: 124mm to 290mm in 18.5mm steps (With Extensions at 100mm)
Armrest Stack: 58.5mm (no riser kit) to 138.5mm in 5mm increments (With aftermarket Riser Kit)
